How to check if I have coverage?
Visit our Coverage Map here
What is the installation process?
Once coverage has been confirmed at your address, an order can be placed. Your selected ISP's team will process the order and WeFNO will contact you for scheduling details for the installation. The technician will be on site on the day to install the FNO equipment. Once the FNO install is complete, your ISP can complete your installation with a router to get you online.
When will my internet connection go live after installation?
After the installation, the technician will forward the relevant details to the WEFNO team to provision the installed device. Provisioning can take up to 48 hours to be completed. Once provisioning is completed, the internet will be live, and a router (provided by the ISP) can be connected.
How long does WeFNO take to install my fibre?
WeFNO takes between 5-7 working days for the fibre installations.
Will I need to pay for an installation?
Yes, WeFNO charges for an installation if there is no existing installation on the premises. If an existing installation, then no fee is required.
What if I move house?
If you move houses, you will need to contact your ISP to assist you with the cancellation of the existing line and install you at the new address. Please note that equipment cannot be moved from one address to another. Please note your ISP's termination period and plan in advance.
Who owns the fibre equipment in my home?
The installed device called the ONT/ ONU/CPE and Termination Point (TP – White box connecting to installed device) both belong to WeFNO. The clients must not take the equipment with them should they move, as the equipment will not work at another location.
What is the difference between WeFNO and my ISP?
WeFNO is a Fibre Network Provider, which means that we provide and install the Fibre infrastructure to the ISPs. Internet service providers (ISPs) provide the internet access to their clients.
